Pastor Windell Rodgers

In June of 1998, Rev. Windell Rodgers became pastor of Mount Calvary Baptist Church. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Rev. Rodgers was licensed to preach in December of 1994. He served as an associate pastor of Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church in Mauldin, South Carolina before joining Mount Calvary. He is married to the former Patricia Etheridge and they are the parents of two children: Baash and Wendi.

Pastor Rodgers presently serves as Vice Moderator of the Enoree River Baptist Association. He also serves as the Director of Camp Enoree, a fifty-nine acre camp owned by the association of churches belonging to Enoree River. He and his wife, Mrs. Patricia Rodgers has led a marriage enrichment seminar at the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, National Baptist Convention, USA, Incorporated. He has served as an instructor in the local congress teaching, "Managing Debt Through The Word" and other courses as requested.

The Mount Calvary Baptist Church is experiencing positive numerical and spiritual growth under the leadership of Pastor Rodgers as God directs. Under his leadership, Mount Calvary has its first paved parking lot, a new church steeple, installed a modern PA system and has recently installed an up-to-date air conditioning/heating unit. With the purchase of a new church van, the church is now able to transport elderly church members to and from services as well as other church activities. The real blessing of this is that the church continues to be debt-free.
